At Tradlands, inspiration comes from the customer. From the adventurer, to the girl-about-town- empowering women with products that are both classic and made to last. Apparel for the woman who drifts towards menswear and thinks, “If only they made this for me.” Their debut line includes garments for year round wear. The intention is simple – to make the best clothing for their customer.
Volume One features hardwearing fabrics, like raw denim and washed linen, with details including brass snaps and side gussets constructed in relaxed and feminine silhouettes. Each piece is made by hand in San Francisco with textiles and trims sourced from craftsmen in the United States. The goods are sewn in small batches. When those run out, they find new materials and make more.
Tradlands was created in 2012 by partners Sadie and Jeremy. Sadie lived in Rhode Island and Jeremy in Iowa before meeting in San Francisco and moving to their home workshop on Nob Hill. They carry with them a love and respect for the Americana tradition, from the golden coast of California to the Eastern seaboard.
